About Dr. John Hisel
Pastor John comes to us with several years of pastoral experience in churches throughout the U.S.  He has been a church planter in the states of Florida and Washington.  During the Viet Nam conflict he served in the U.S. Army as an Army Chaplain for five years.  His ministry also included serving five years on the staff of the Sioux Falls Baptist Seminary where he headed up the public relations department and student recruitment. 

Most importantly he loves the Lord and continues to feel God's calling to reach boys and girls, youth and adults with the saving grace of Jesus Christ.  He has a heart for people and their needs and makes himself available to be with people in need and who are seeking spiritual direction.  John and his late wife Wanda were married 48 years at the time of her death.  Pastor has two grown children, Tim and Tiffany who are married.  He is the proud grandfather of two children:  Ella the daughter of Tim & Kathy, and Remmington the son of Tiffany & Tim.
